A broken pipe, which flooded a section of the red carpet with sewage, threatened to put a gross damper on the festivities, but somehow the celebs championed through it. There were a couple of standout looks, and our favorites delivered, but there didn’t seem to be one big trend. There were, however, some questionable fashion choices from women that usually look amazing, or maybe i’m remembering things wrong.
Anyways, here are the best, and the rest, of the red carpet!
The best dressed on everyone’s list i’m sure, the lovely Lupita Nyong’o in red Ralph Lauren.
Kate Beckinsale in Zuhair Murad.
Amber Heard in Ver-sayce, excuse me, Versace.
The show’s host, Tina Fey, in floral Carolina Herrera.
The other host, and winner, Amy Poehler in black Stella McCartney.
The other big winner named Amy, Mrs. Adams in a plunging Maison Valentino.
Not a big fan of Elisabeth Moss‘ drab J. Mendel dress, but she gets points for flipping off E!‘s stupid “mani-cam.”
A very handsome and bearded Chiwetel Ejiofor with girlfriend Sari Mercer.
Jessica Chastain in Givenchy.
The glowing Kerry Washington in a custom made Balenciaga dress.
Julia Roberts in Dolce & Gabbana, but you wouldn’t know by looking at it.
Jennifer Lawrence really needs to get a contract with another designer. This is Dior, and it’s supposedly couture.
Zooey Deschanel surprising no one in this old-fashioney Oscar De La Renta.
Zoe Saldana having stomach trouble in this Prabal Gurung get up.
Matthew McConaughey in a green tux with wife Camila Alves.
Paula Patton in ruffled Stephane Rolland.
Emma Watson was also in Dior. But we think she was the only one in pants.
Drew Barrymore is expecting her 2nd child, so we’ll give her a bit of a break, but she should have saved this one for Valentine’s Day.
Cate Blanchett in lacy Armani Prive.
The Dame, Helen Mirren in mint green.
Channing and Jenna Dewan–Tatum are a hot couple, don’t you agree?
Everyone’s favorite meth cook, Bryan Cranston with wife Robin Deardon.
One of our favorite tv witches, Lily Rabe. We glad she ditched the Stevie Nicks shawl for the carpet.
Everyone seems to be split on Sandra Bullock‘s pink, blue and black Prabal Gurung.
Finally, Sofia Vergara in Zac Posen. The folks over at StyleCaster likened her look to Ursula from ‘The Little Mermaid.’ We used to love Sofia’s style, but lets hope she changes it up a bit for 2014.
Who did you love?
