The whole world watched Catherine Middleton emerge from The Queen’s classic 1977 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI at the church — Westminster Abbey — with her father, Michael Middleton in a gorgeous gown designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The McQueen dress is ivory and silk gazar with lace applique handmade by Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace. Her Maid of Honor, sister Pippa, wore a ivory sheath dress with short sleeves.
When Catherine arrived at the altar after a 4-minute long walk down the aisle, Prince William told her “You look beautiful“.
