Yep. We sat through the entire awards show, but that ain’t no big thang. We always do, because it’s like my job or something. That sure doesn’t mean I don’t have biases or favorites, right? I wouldn’t be the opinionated human sack of gossip you’ve grown to barely tolerate love. Right? RIGHT???

Meh. Pitbull is okay, I guess.
Meh. Pitbull is okay, I guess.

So…here are the winners, and I don’t have too many complaints aside from Pitbull trying his hand at a hosting gig and the  Best New Artist…which clearly should have been awarded to our town’s  Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, forpitysake. YOU know it and I know it; so let’s just move along.

And one more time:

WHAAAA??? ME????
WHAAAA??? ME????

Overall, the shows was okay. I really was hoping for some wins for Bruno Mars, which would’ve given us a hot performance, but alas–Timberlake won those awards.  I did notice the  not-too-subtle public shaming of Robin Thicke. Hmmmmm…Not all the surprising.

Even Miley was decent; although her staging was, well–odd?

WTAF? Oh. Right. “She’s just bein’ Maaaahleee, y’all.”

One more thing: How great did Joan Jett and Dave Grohl look? LOVE THEM!

Overall, what did alla ya’ll think? Anyone with me on the Bruno Mars sitch?  Did ABC think they’d get more viewers/higher ratings with Timberlake winning performing? Just as simple questions; don’t LEAP all over me.

And here we are…The Brit Awards were televised tonight, and really didn’t hold my attention.  All it did was confirm just how much I dislike Mumford and Sons. The pretentiousness meter was on TILT.  So I hereby request that the backlash begin.

Oh, the winners?  Here ya go:

Best British Male Solo Artist: Ben Howard

Best British Group: Mumford and Sons

Best British Live Act: Coldplay

Best British Breakthrough Act: Ben Howard

Best International Group: The Black Keys

Best International Male Solo Artist: Frank Ocean

International Female Solo Artist: Lana Del Rey

Best British Single: Adele, Skyfall

British Album of the Year: Emeli Sande, Our Version Of Events

Global Success Award: One Direction

Oh, and Taylor Swift (Harry’s ex!) did the worst her best Baby Madonna act (“Keep It Together” from “Blonde Ambition or what?) just to piss off (or please?) the One Direction nuts out there.  I don’t know.  I do know I can’t with her.

All in all, a dull show.

I Think Taylor Swift Got Some New Boobies

See?

Remember when Taylor Swift was more waifish? Sure, she was a young, tall, gawky weirdo stumbling around on her giant boat-feet a couple of years ago, but she still is.  Only two things have really changed.

A plastic surgeon, who has never treated Swift, claims the singer has gone from an A cup to a B cup.

“You can see the implants,” Dr. Michael Fiorillo told the magazine after looking at a photo of Swift from the People’s Choice Awards.

I say TayTay got her first new set.  I predict that over the next 15 years (along with 6-9 marriages and twice as many homes purchased), we’ll see quite a few changes on Tay’s body/face/bum.

Tick tock, y’all.
