Ice cream giants Ben & Jerry’s have announced that they will be releasing a new, limited batch offering called ‘Scotchy Scotch Scotch’ in honor of legendary anchorman, Ron Burgundy. This is of course is promotion for the upcoming release of ‘Anchorman 2,’ and what better base to use than Ron’s favorite drink, because we all know milk is a bad choice.
The flavor is described as a “butterscotch-based ice cream with butterscotch swirl ribbons.” That sounds like a lot of butterscotch, but it won’t get you drunk. “Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch is a delicious ice cream and I hope Ben and Jerry consider my other suggestions, malt liquor marshmallow, well liquor bourbon peanut butter, and cheap white wine sherbet,” Mr. Burgundy said in a press release. I’m sure Brick would have suggest a “lamp” flavored ice cream.
You can try the ice cream for yourself for the next couple of weeks in stores and at your local B&J’s. ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ starring Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell, David Koechner and Christina Applegate will be in theaters on December 20.
