Baz Lurhmann’s Moulin Rouge Does New York “Great Gatsby” trailer is up and running. I’ve kind of been a sour-puss about this remake in the first place, because my SilverFox husband’s uncle, Gene Ruldolf was the Art Director in the original film starring Mia Farrow and Robert Redford. **coughBigBraggercough**
Oh, and remember, this new film will be in 3-D. Hmmmmm. Take a look.
Wow. That’s a far-cry from the white, airiness of the original film, innit? I’m going to back-pedal a bit though. I really do like Baz’s films. I still love Romeo+Juliet. So, let’s just wait and see.
In the meantime…remember this?? I cannot hear Baz Lurhmann’s name without thinking of this classic Reno 911 episode. I know, the cross-referenced Rolodex in my head is cray-cray.
Niecy Nash documented her hectic rush to get down the aisle in a TLC special, ‘Niecy Nash’s Wedding Bash,’ which aired Saturday night. The former ‘Clean House‘ host wed electrical engineer Jay Tucker in a ceremony at a California vineyard. The couple’s wedding party included actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, who was Niecy’s Matron of Honor, and The View’sSherri Shepherd.
Also in attendance were Nash’s former ‘Dancing With The Stars‘ friends Evan Lysacek and Erin Andrews, ‘The Talk‘ host Holly Robinson-Peete and singer Brandy. It was a mini ‘Moesha‘ reunion!
Jerry O’Connell and his wife Rebecca Romijn were also in attendance. You might remember the short lived series Jerry and Niecy starred in, ‘Do Not Disturb‘.
Most people know Niecy as Raineesha Williams from ‘Reno 911‘ and her former Reno, Nevada deputies were there as well.
No word on where Garcia and Johnson were, but it’s nice to see that they’re all still friends! (We’re hoping Thomas Lennon aka Lt. Jim Dangle wore booty-shorts with his tux!)
