The Royals aren’t the ones on diaper duty. In a huge surprise announcement, Jimmy Fallon revealed that he and wife Nancy Juvonen welcomed a baby girl on Tuesday. On Wednesday night’s episode of ‘Late Night,’ the proud new dad gushed to the audience during his monologue about his daughter and told the world her name, Winnie Rose Fallon.
“I’m the father of a beautiful baby girl. She’s so cute. She’s 5 lbs., 9 oz. Me and my wife are so happy!” he said. He still sported his hospital bracelet while talking with ‘The Wolverine’ star Hugh Jackman. Fallon also shared a picture of the newborn on Thursday via his Instagram. It’s great to see him be so excited to be a “dada” and we wish the couple all the best!
Not to be outdone by Kate Middleton, Academy Award winner Penelope Cruz gave birth to her second child with husband Javier Bardem on Monday in Madrid. The baby was a girl, and joins big brother Leonardo, 2 1/2. Penelope’s sister, Monica also gave birth to a girl in Madrid back in May. She chose to do so with the help of artificial insemination.
Lady Antebellum‘s number one lady Hilary Scott also gave birth on Monday. She and husband, drummer Chris Tyyrell welcomed a baby girl, Eisele Kaye Tyrrell who came in at 7lbs, 13 oz. The names honor Chris’s mother’s maiden name (pronounced Eyes-lee) and Hillary’s mother’s middle name. This is the first child for the couple who were married in January of 2012.
