The former Alaska Governor has signed a multi-year deal to serve as a contributor to Fox News, effective immediately.
“I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News,” Palin said in a statement. “It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balance news.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
I’ll bet y’all ANYTHING that we’ll soon see Simon and “Pauler” back together again. Simons says this 2010 season of “American Idol” will be his last. What? Oh, sure. I have a nine inch nail for that coffin….be right back. Read on:
According to AOL TV, Simon signed the agreement on stage, which will not only bring the show over, but see Simon executive produce and judge on the show.
“I’m thrilled that we have put a date on the launch of the U.S. version of ‘The X Factor,’ and delighted to be continuing to work with FOX,” Simon said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “We have a fantastic relationship, a great team and are all very excited about this.”
“The X Factor” will launch stateside in the fall of 2011, FOX confirmed in a release.
But with his new show starting in America, it means the end of Simon’s stint on “American Idol.” Simon confirmed the ninth season of “Idol,” which begins this week on FOX, will be his last.

And finally, a big, fat NO SURPRISE that Mark McGwire is fessin’ up to usin’ the ‘roids. Ummm…was he about to be blackmailed or something? I thought he swore before God and his Country did he did not have sexual relations with that needle use steroids. Hmmm.
Who else was glued to the TV when Marky Roid was tryna break that big record in the 90’s? Oh, only ALL of us.
