I really don’t have to even write any words, do I?
I’ve called POTUS my “boyfriend” before mosta y’all even knew who he was, I’m just sayin’–I have dibs. (Doncha love how 7th grade girl I am about politics?) So what. That’s why I’m here for you. If you want C-SPAN, you know where to go.
There is just something about Tim Roth, isn’t there? The authenticity. The perfect believability he brings to every role he plays. That smile. That accent. That charm. (See how quickly I revert back to being a 7th grade dorky girl? SNAP–just like that.)
How great is this photo of Tim Roth and Harvey Keitel on the set of “Reservoir Dogs“?
It’s no surprise that it’s my favorite Tim Roth film by far. What’s yours? Just don’t tell me it’s “The Incredible Hulk” okay?
Honestly. Davy Jones has died? Another childhood crush is gone. It’s being reported that Davy died of an apparent heart attack in Florida today.
Now, granted, no one could replace my beloved George Harrison, but he wasn’t on TV each and every week when I was four years old. So my other English imaginary sidepiece-boyfriend was Davy Jones from The Monkees. And who could forget The Brady Bunch episode with Marcia, Marcia, Marcia?
Now that I think about it, I kind of crushed on the diminutive little primate for a good part of my life. The good ones always stay cute and charming, don’t they? I actually sawThe Monkees (sans Mike Nesmith) back in high school at Knott’s Berry Farm or Six Flags Magic Mountain. (I can’t remember which.) I do remember that I fell in love with Davy all over again. Sigh. Such a Tiny Dreamboat.
Well, crap. This is just sad all the way around. Here’s my favorite song, Valleri, by The Monkees. I may have to go download it today.
Rest peacefully, Davy. You were crushed on and loved.
