Those naughty rogues. Just look at Mick and Keith making sport of The Beatles‘ tunes “I’ve Just Seen a Face” and “Eight Days A Week“. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen “Keef” smile with such joy as seen here in the itty-bitty clip.
“The Rolling Stones‘ 50th Anniversary uncorks another bottle of champagne next month with the previously announced release of Charlie Is My Darling – Ireland 1965, a rarity of a film that focuses on the band’s visit to Ireland circa September 1965…
The full, unseen relic will surface on DVD and Blu-Ray come November 6th. A box set that includes both the DVD and Blu-ray discs, two CDs (the soundtrack and live recordings of their 1965 British tour), a 10″ vinyl of live tracks, a 1965 Belfast gig poster, a 42 pg hardcover book, and even a limited cell from the film will also be available. Those with Direct TV, however, can catch the film on November 10th.”
Mick’s always been cheeky, and always will be. Lord, look at Charlie. That same stoic, bored and disapproving side-eye remains the same, doesn’t it? Superfunny.
So. Who’s got tickets to see The Stones either in London or Newark, New Jersey? Because I’d TOTALLY go with you.
And Mick? At what, 69? Most of us probably still would.
