While everyone else was watching the Billboard Music Awards, I took the task of watching the finale of Celebrity Apprentice. I did this for you guys! Okay, well, I didn’t watch every single minute of it, Donald Trump doesn’t really deserve my time.
The finale saw the return of Gary Busey, who hijaked the “live” show to talk about Omaha Steaks again. Trump pushed LaToya Jackson to talk about why she didn’t like Star Jones, while she was sitting right next to Star. This was after he instigated another argument between Star and Nene Leakes. The issue of race and if Nene had problems with the other black women on the show came up again, because that was necessary. Donald Trump totally gets race relations, you guys.
So, it was down to Country singer John Rich and actress Marlee Matlin, both had to create campaigns for 7UP Retro. John almost ruined his presentation by announcing Def Leppard 20 minutes before the band was ready to play. He stalled by singing a song, asking Trump not to fire him. Marlee’s presentation featured the Harlem Globetrotters, and while the 7UP executives thought both campaigns were great, ultimately the decision was left to Trump and his combover. Both John and Marlee raised over a million dollars for their respective charities over the course of the show, and they played the game really well.
In the end, John Rich was named the winner and got another $250,000 to give to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
I think they both deserved to win, but I was sort of rooting for Marlee. If you can ignore that Donald Trump is involved in it, you have to appreciate the fact that this show supports and gives money to so many charities. Also, it keeps Trump from being anywhere near the White House.
Until next time, hussies!
