Kobe Bryant is Getting Divorced, Giving Daniel Tosh New Material

Stupid Kobe.

Did I mention (lately) that I loathe Kobe Bryant? I loathe that a-hole so much and I’ll tell him to his face.  Just ask me. I’ll do it.  So.  Seems StupidKobe’s wife, Vanessa filed divorce papers against her alleged rapist husband and father of her two daughters today.

“Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant plan to share custody of their two children, according to divorce papers filed in Orange County court Friday.

In the document, Vanessa Bryant cited “irreconcilable differences” in seeking a divorce from the Lakers star. The document also said the couple will share both physical and legal custody of their daughters, Natalia, 8, and Giana, 5.

In a statement released by their publicist, the couple said a final judgment for the marriage will be filed with the Orange County court in 2012.

“We ask that in the interest of our young children, and in light of the upcoming holiday season, the public respect our privacy during this most difficult time,” they said in the statement.

Vanessa Bryant is being represented by noted divorce attorney Laura Wasser.”

I wonder if Vanessa will sell the lavender-“I did not rape have sex with that blonde woman in Colorado“-diamond ring?  Seems to be the popular thing to do these days amongst wealthy divorcees.  Lord knows, with two kids, Kobe’s NBA paychecks and having bad ass divorce attorney Laura Wasser on her side, Vanessa will indeed be wealthy without that douche bringing her down.

My question is:   Are you shocked by this news?

Kobe Bryant Uses Homophobic Slur After Technical Foul

Oh. Hey, Dumbass.

Everyone knows I loathe Kobe Bryant. If you didn’t, you do now.

Let’s take a quick look at The A$$hole’s behavior last night, after he was given a technical foul during Lakers vs. Spurs game, shall we?

Okay. You tell ME what he said. We all know it…and now, according to the Los Angeles Times, Kobe admitted to screaming  a homophobic slur at the referee, Bennie Adams.

What I said last night should not be taken literally,” Bryant said in a statement. “My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.” – Kobe Bryant

The TNT telecast captured Bryant’s outburst during the Lakers’ 102-93 victory. He pounded his seat on the bench before sitting, threw a towel and then yelled “Bennie!” before appearing to mutter the homophobic slur. TNT announcer Steve Kerr said on the air, “You might want to take the cameras off of him right now, for the children watching from home.”

Bryant was criticized by the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization.

What a disgrace for Kobe Bryant to use such horribly offensive and distasteful language, especially when millions of people are watching,” the HRC said in a statement. “Hopefully Mr. Bryant will recognize that as a person with such fame and influence, the use of such language not only offends millions of LGBT people around the world, but also perpetuates a culture of discrimination and hate that all of us, most notably Mr. Bryant, should be working to eradicate. Bryant and the Lakers have a responsibility to speak up on this issue immediately. America is watching.”

Bryant’s outburst is also being reviewed by the NBA and could draw a fine.

If Bryant picks up a 16th technical foul Wednesday night in the Lakers’ regular-season finale against Sacramento, he will be suspended for the Lakers’ opener next season.”
