Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Married in Charleston, S. Carolina Sunday Night – Florence Welch The Wedding Singer!

Congrats, Blake and Ryan!

Wait.  What??

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively — the oh, so secretive couple (who have been dating since 2011)  got married in a ceremony just outside of Charleston, S.C. on Sunday evening!  Like, TONIGHT!

According to People.com:

“…the pair tied the knot at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. in a white tent. Florence Welch, apparently a pal of Lively’s, sang three songs and a DJ handled music duties for the rest of the night. The cake was reportedly driven down from Virginia.

Boone Hall Plantation, Mt. Pleasant, SC – STUNNING Location

Lively and Reynolds have stayed relatively quiet about their relationship, although they bought a house together in Bedford, N.Y. in April for a cool $2 million. It’s a 40 minute trip from New York City, where Lively films “Gossip Girl,” and the couple was spotted around town together all summer.”

Well, gee!  Good for Blake and Ryan for pulling off what sounds like a lovely wedding without the prying eyes of the media.  But how are we supposed to ooooh and aaaah over Blake’s dress?  I wonder if it was Chanel??

MTV Bringing Back ‘Unplugged’

In case you weren’t convinced that the 90’s are officially back!  Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network are revisiting their old programming. No Doubt, Garbage and Soundgarden are all releasing new music this year and now MTV is bringing back it’s popular ‘Unplugged‘ series. Florence + The Machine will kick things off April 8, and DivaJulia‘s favorite, The Civil Wars, will be taping a performance later this Spring for VH1. [Editor’s Note: Love The Civil Wars, but I’m DYING over Garbage releasing a new album. GAAAAAH!! Shirley Muh-Fuh’n Manson is a GODDESS.]

The Machine’s concert will be released on CD, DVD and Digital Download April 9. The band bought in a 10 piece gospel choir for the performance and covered Otis Redding‘s classic “Try A Little Tenderness.” Check out the rest of the playlist and this teaser.

‘Only If For A Night’
‘Drumming Song’
‘Cosmic Love’
‘Breaking Down’
‘Never Let Me Go’
‘Try A Little Tenderness’
‘No Light No Light’
‘Jackson’
‘What The Water Gave Me’
‘Dog Days Are Over’
‘Shake It Out’

It’s about time MTV showed something other than pregnant teenagers and drunken Jersey-folk–like music???

Jason Segal, Florence and The Machine and Muppets on SNL

The Muppets and Jason Segal are working hard to promote their new movie. Segal hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time and celebrated with a song featuring his felt friends. Kermit the Frog also showed up on Weekend Update and some of the gang appeared in the last skit.

When it’s the holidays, you can always count on a visit to the Vogelcheck residence, where mouth-kissing is always welcome. Their “son” (DREAMBOAT) Paul Rudd even stopped by for a visit.

Florence and The Machine made their second SNL appearance performing “Shake It Out” and their latest single “No Light, No Light.” Florence Welch  is receiving a bit of backlash for the video to the latter song, but I have to admit she looked stunning in that Balmain dress.

Did y’all watch last night?
