Our multi-talented boo Pharrell Williams was behind two of the biggest songs of 2013, Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines,” which also included T.I. and Daft Punk‘s “Get Lucky.” Those two hits were included in Williams’ career-spanning medley at the NBA All-Star game on Sunday night. He also brought out one of those awesome Vivienne Westwood hats.
Diddy and Busta Rhymes were on hand for “Pass The Courvoisier Part II” and Nelly performed a bit of his 2002 smash “Hot In Herre.” He also threw in some old school N.E.R.D. with his Neptunes partner Chad Hugo. Some other highlights included his Oscar nominated “Happy” and what is probably one of his best guest appearances, and best beats, “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” Of course Snoop Dogg, or whatever name he’s going by at the moment, bopped out on stage.
Pharrell thanked his friends for performing with him on Twitter, and I think we should all be thanking Pharrell for all the hits he’s given us over the years.
