Britney Spears is making some big movies with her life.
First, she officially parted ways with FOX‘s ‘The XFactor,’ deciding not to renew her contract for a second season. “I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it’s time for me to get back in the studio,”Spears said Friday.” Now comes the news that she has also ended her relationship with fiance Jason Trawick.
Spears’ rep confirmed to People in a statement saying , “As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends.”The ex-couple also released a joint statement, “Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement,” Spears says.”I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.” Adds Trawick: “As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.”
How touching. But I think we can all agree that Britney seems better off without the show and Jason. Rumors are that she could be headlining a show in Las Vegas. It could be a handful of performances, like Beyonce‘s shows at WYNN,or a multi-year deal like Celine Dion and Cher at Caesars Palace, who knows. She recently signed with talent agency CAA (Creative Artists Agency), severing ties with Live Nation. So not only does she seem to be getting her career back on track, but her personal life as well.
Well. Except for that conservatorship-thing with Daddy. That stays in effect.
The NY Post reports that despite their initial reservations about even granting her an audition, producers of a new ABC Family series have given the former Bond Girl a role.
Richards is the ex-wife of Charlie Sheen and mother to two daughters with him, a daughter she adopted post their divorce, the two boys he had with Brooke Mueller and possibly parenting some neighbor children I don’t know about.
Socio, is an hour long drama about a teenager’s life after he is released from jail for killing his aunt. Richards will play the boy’s mother, a socialite who now must deal with the fall out of her son’s return.
